Hi there! My name is Meg, and I'm a designer. I was born in 1986 and raised in the middle of nowhere in Western New York. I have always been interested in graphics and media, and I'm lucky to have had many experiences with these things starting from when I was very young.

I love doing too many different kinds of things to stick to just one kind of work, but I most enjoy web design, vector illustration, working in Flash, and designing for print, although I will certainly do other types of design-related work and I have done plenty of other creative projects in my spare time. Basically, I just love any kind of creative work!

I am a recent graduate of the Visual Studies program at the University at Buffalo, with a concentration in Communication Design. Many people ask me what Communication Design is, and the way I like to explain it is that I studied a wide variety of design-related topics and problems as a student. As a result, I have an intimate understanding of all kinds of ways that people communicate visually - whether it's through logo or business identity creation, document and print design, video and photography, or interactive games and multimedia experiences.

My next major goal is to pursue my Master's degree, but in the meantime I am exploring all of the different opportunities my current degree field offers and polishing some of my personal creative projects.

I am presently based in Buffalo, New York with my husband, Scott, and the world's cutest cat, Milo.
